Every year, Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock helps hundreds of teenagers renew their self worth and find purpose through music, dance and self-expression.

Solid Rock aims to create a solid foundation for youth in our community through exciting and creative journeys at their sanctuary for teens. They provide free classes, vocational training and a safe place for youth to gather and explore.

“A teen’s worst enemy is too much time on their hands,” says shock rocker Alice Cooper. “When I see these kids hanging out on the streets, I think, ‘That kid right there might be the best drummer in Arizona. And that kid over there might be the best guitarist.’ They just don’t know it yet. Nobody’s ever put a guitar or drumsticks in their hands.”

A faith-based organization, Solid Rock’s primary mission is to make an everlasting difference in the lives of teens by helping them meet the spiritual, economical, physical, and social needs of at-risk teens in the community by offering a safe, engaging environment during non-school hours – a time when they are most vulnerable to drugs, violence, and gangs. Maintaining “a teen’s worst enemy is too much time on their hands,” Solid Rock provides the music, arts, vocational programs and fellowship that challenge teens to discover their passion through music, dance, self-expression, and creativity.
