Description: Voices for Education, The Sakin Foundation and the University of Arizona College of Education invite you to a vital community conversation on the importance of class size featuring Dr. Jeremy Finn, lead researcher for the Tennessee STAR study at 6:30pm on September 21st at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Finn, professor of Education at SUNY-Buffalo, will share highlights from the STAR (Student Teacher Achievement Ratio) Study, followed by Q&A led by Dr. Ronald Marx, Dean of the University of Arizona College of Education and Robin Hiller, Executive Director of Voices for Education.
This is the continuation of the “Raising Arizona” Speaker’s Series, which features educational leaders from around the nation. It’s intended to raise new ideas that can help create the high quality education essential for our children, our economy and our future.
