Arizona Department of Education’s Educator Recruitment and Retention Task Force
In response to rising concerns about the high turnover rate of teachings in Arizona schools and districts, and the challenges this lack of stability creates, the Arizona Department of Education created the Educator Recruitment and Retention Task Force. Under the direction of Assistant Superintendent Dr. Cecilia Johnson, the Task Force provides data, research and recommendations for policymakers and educators designed to improve the recruitment and retention of quality educators in Arizona. Educators are welcome to join the Task Force by emailing cecilia.johnson@azed.gov.
