  • Cochise County Coronavirus Response Hub: https://covid-cochisehealth.hub.arcgis.com.
  • Boys and Girls Club of Sierra Vista: Summer registration is now open. In response to COVID-19, the Club will be offering two 4 week sessions for 99 youth. The first session is June 1 to June 26. 2nd session is June 29 to July 24. Registration for Session 2 will open June 8. Learn more: bgcsvaz.org.
  • Cochise County Library District: Many of the public libraries across Cochise County are temporarily closed or offering limited services as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. See below for more details about the various locations. Learn more: cochiselibrary.org.
    • Benson Public Library: As of June 2, the library is open to a limited number of patrons by appointment, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please call the library at 520-586-9535 for details. The library will still be doing the Reading in the Park with social distancing in place. The library’s summer reading program is being offered virtually this year. They also have had City Council members and other staff offer to read books and do crafts for the public to see on the library’s Facebook page too.
    • Bisbee’s Copper Queen Library: Closed to the public, but curbside pickup service is available at the Main Library. Items may be returned to drop boxes, and staff are available by phone at 520-432-4232, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wifi is available from outside the Main Library (6 Main St.) and the Copper Queen Library San Jose Annex (519 W. Melody Lane).
    • Douglas Public Library: Closed to the public, but curbside pickup service is available, and items may be returned to the drop box. Staff are available by phone at 520-417-7352 and by email at DPL@douglasaz.gov. Voicemail and email will be returned as soon as possible, Monday-Thursday from 10 am to 6 p.m. and Friday from 10 am to 5 p.m. Preschool Story Time will be recorded and posted to the Library’s Facebook page on Thursdays. Wifi is available outside 24/7.
    • Huachuca City Public Library: As of June 2, the computer section has reopened on a limited basis, by appointment only. Masks are required. Computer use is limited to one hour in order to serve more patrons. Staff will continue to provide curbside pickup for library materials. Staff will be available to answer calls Tuesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 p.m., at 520-456-1063. Wifi is available from the parking lot, 24/7.     • Sierra Vista Public Library: The library is still closed to the public, but library staff are available by phone at 520-458-4225, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is offering curbside pickup service Monday through Thursday, from 10 am to 2 p.m., and Friday from 4-6 p.m. The Book Nook Cafe in the library lobby is open, and wifi is available from the parking lot, 24/7. Book drops are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Due dates for library materials have been extended, and overdue fines will not be assessed while the library is closed.     • Tombstone City Library: The library is now open to the public. Until further notice, the library’s business hours will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you have questions about library services, please call 520-457-3612 during those hours.
    • Willcox’s Elsie. S. Hogan Community Library: The library is working toward a phased reopening. Computer access and circulation services are available on a limited basis. Curbside pickup of library materials is available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. To arrange for curbside pickup, please call library staff at 520-766-4250.
    • (CCLD) Bowie’s Jimmie Libhart Library: Closed to the public, but curbside pickup service is available. Wifi available outside, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Call 520-847-2522 or 520-432-8937 if you have questions.
    • (CCLD) Elfrida Library: Closed to the public, but curbside pickup service is available. Wifi available outside, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Call 520-642-1744 or 520-432-8937 if you have questions.
    • (CCLD) Portal’s Myrtle Kraft Library: Closed to the public, but curbside pickup service is available. Wifi available outside, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Call 520-558-2468 or 520-432-8937 if you have questions.
    • (CCLD) Sunizona’s Alice Woods Library: Closed to the public, but books may be returned via the book drop, and cubside pickup service will be available starting the week of June 15. Wifi available outside, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
